Introduction:
In this project, we aimed to boost the e-commerce sales of a sportswear brand and help them surpass their global competitors. Collaborating with our client management, creative, and digital performance teams, we restructured the brand’s digital marketing process from the ground up.
Goals:
- Sales Growth: Double the sales within 3 months.
- Conversion Optimization: Reduce bounce rates and increase user engagement on the website.
- Price Advantage: Communicate categories where we had a price advantage to the target audience.
- Brand Awareness: Clarify the brand identity, which was often confused with global competitors, and boost brand recognition.
Challenges and Diagnosis:
At the outset of the project, we identified several critical issues with the brand’s software infrastructure, pixel implementations, and data flow. Additionally, the website had multiple UI/UX flaws, negatively impacting conversion rates. There was also a lack of audience segmentation and retargeting in social media and digital ad campaigns.
Our Strategy:
- Software Optimization:
Our technical team revamped the entire software infrastructure and pixel setup, ensuring flawless data flow. This allowed us to develop strategies based on accurate insights. - Creative and Digital Performance: Our creative team reimagined all ad copies and scenarios to strengthen the brand identity. We detailed audience segmentation, offering personalized deals and promotions to each target group. We optimized high-performing ad sets and shut down underperforming ones, while implementing budget optimization. Through retargeting, we engaged previous customers with cross-sell and upsell offers to further boost conversions.
- SEO and Digital Campaigns: By utilizing AI-powered dynamic ads and focusing on SEO improvements, we consistently reduced cost-per-click, achieving outstanding results in search engine ads. We executed in-depth optimizations for category-based improvements to boost organic traffic.
- Content Marketing: For our content marketing strategy, we employed social proof by working with athletes and influencers who are both physically fit and well-known in the sports community. We built a video production-focused strategy to convey the brand’s message in the most engaging way to the target audience.
Results:
- Sales Growth: While our initial goal was to double the sales within 3 months, we exceeded expectations and achieved a 12x increase in sales.
- Engagement: Page session times tripled, and while we aimed for a 2x increase in engagement, we reached an 8ximprovement.
- Brand Awareness: We successfully solidified the brand identity, eliminating confusion with global competitors.
- New Investment: Following the remarkable performance, our client decided to prioritize online retail investments over opening a new physical store.
